Jobable can assign a Zone to a Site based on its UK postcode. Postcodes in other regions are currently unsupported. A surcharge can then be set and added to any part of the Job Department pricing structure.
Note: Zone surcharges will not be added if all components of the Job Department pricing are set to zero (0.00). In this case, it is assumed that charges are being handled outside the scope of Job Department pricing.
Create a New Zone
Go to Settings
Go to Manage Zones
Click '+ New'
Enter the Zone name and the surcharges desired.
Enter the Postcodes that should apply (hit enter after each one)
Press 'Save'
New Sites will now be saved with the defined Zone. Please contact us if you want Zones to be updated retrospectively to existing customers and we can assist with this.
Postcode Matching
Postcodes will be matched as specifically as possible. For example, if you have 'EX' set as Zone 1, 'EX2' set as Zone 2 and 'EX2 3' set as Zone 3, the following postcodes will be matched as below:
'EX1 5AB' will be assigned Zone 1.
'EX2 4AB' will be assigned Zone 2.
'EX2 3AB' will be assigned Zone 3.
