Jobable partners with Stripe to process card payments and get you paid quickly, while keeping your customer's card information secure and ensuring PCI compliance.
Managing your Stripe Account
Go to 'Settings'
Click 'Stripe' in the 'Manage Integrations' box.
Select the best option for you:
To create a new Stripe Account, click the 'Create New Stripe Account' button.
To connect an existing Stripe Account, click the 'Connect Existing Stripe Account' button.
When complete, you'll be able to see whether Charges (the ability to accept card payments from your customers) and Payouts (getting money paid out from your Stripe account to your bank account) are enabled.
You'll now be set up to receive payments through Jobable. If you take payments in Remote, engineers will be able to select QR Code as a payment method. This will display a QR code on the engineer's tablet, which the customer can scan on their phone to pay.
To send a payment link from a job in Admin, click the pencil icon to edit the job. Scroll down to Payments, and click "Send Payment Link". To cancel an unpaid payment link, click the trash can icon.
The minimum payment amount on any Stripe payment is £0.50 / €0.50 / $0.50.
Fees
Fees are composed of Stripe's payment processing fee and Jobable's platform fee. Stripe's fees can vary depending on the type of card used, so it might not be the same for every transaction. Your fees are laid out in Settings > Manage Integrations (Stripe).
